Good Society is the simplest way to declutter your closet and make money doing it.

Donation

Donating is the fastest way to clear space, and it feels productive in the moment. You bag everything up, drop it off, and your closet looks lighter instantly.

But you don’t make anything from it. Pieces that still have real value are simply gone. It solves the clutter — but not the money side of it.

Buy-Sell-Trade

You bring in a bag of good pieces and wait while someone sorts through everything. They look at each item, decide what they’ll take, and hand most of it back.

You might walk out with a small payout — often much less than you expected — and a pile of clothes still sitting in your car. It’s quick, but it rarely feels worth it.

Facebook Marketplace

You post an item and wait for replies. Soon your inbox fills with “Is this still available?” messages, low offers, and back-and-forth negotiations.

Even when someone agrees to buy, you’re scheduling meetups, coordinating timing, and hoping they actually show up. It’s possible — but it takes more effort than most people expect.

Selling Apps

You photograph each piece, write descriptions, research pricing, and create listings. Then come the messages, questions, and offers — sometimes at all hours.

When something sells, you package it up, print a label, and make a trip to the post office. It can work — but you’re managing every step from start to finish.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Person holding a smartphone showing a calendar on the screen for March 2026, with the date 28 highlighted, and a scheduled event at 8:00 AM in the Pacific Time zone.

    01

Reserve a closet at our store location in Old Town Tustin.

  • A person folding a pile of jeans and clothing on the floor next to a gray patterned rug.

    02

Prepare your closet items for sale.

  • Clothes hanging on a rod, including sweaters, shirts, and jackets in neutral tones, with some darker and textured pieces, organized on hangers.

    03

Set up your booth Saturday morning from 8–10 AM.

  • Two people shopping for patterned shirts on a clothing rack, with various colorful shirts hanging on wooden hangers.

    04

Be the first to shop new closets on Saturday.

  • A stack of folded sweaters on a wooden stool.

    05

Pick up everything that doesn’t sell the following Friday from 7–8 PM.

  • A person holding a smartphone displaying the Uber logo on the screen.

    06

    Get Paid.
(You keep 2/3 of the profits.)

What If I Don’t Make Enough to Cover the Closet Fee?

We’ve thought about that.

If you set up during your scheduled window, keep your closet organized, restock consistently, and participate in our weekly markdown rhythm — and you still don’t cover your $35 weekly fee — we’ll cover it.

We believe in the model, and we’re invested in making it work for you.
