Frequently Asked Questions

  • Absolutely — and you should.

Closets that stay organized, refreshed, and thoughtfully restocked consistently perform better. To get the most out of your week, bring your strongest pieces on Saturday morning, avoid overcrowding your closet, and participate in our weekly markdown rhythm to help move inventory.

You’re welcome to restock during open hours. Just make sure your items are tagged and check in at the front counter before adjusting your space.

  • Good Society is designed for a wide mix of everyday resale.

You’re welcome to sell women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, accessories, vintage pieces, small toys, and home decor. If it’s clean, in good condition, and fits within your closet space, it likely works.

Items that are not permitted include food, electronics, large furniture, or anything that doesn’t safely fit inside your assigned closet.

If you’re unsure about a specific item, just reach out — we’re happy to clarify.

  • It depends — and it varies based on what you bring in and how you manage your closet.

Your results are influenced by the brands and condition of your items, how you price them, how many pieces you stock, and how consistently you restock throughout the week.

Some sellers use their closet to casually rotate pieces and take home around $100 a week. Others who stock intentionally, price strategically, and refresh their space regularly can take home $400–$600 or more.

Like any resale platform, the effort you put in plays a role — but the opportunity is real.

  • When you rent a closet, you’re responsible for both setting it up and taking it down during your scheduled window.

All sellers are expected to remove their remaining items during Friday takedown hours. Items not picked up on time may be removed and donated so we can prepare the space for the next seller.

If you have a scheduling conflict, please reach out in advance.

  • Good Society is open seven days a week, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Sellers are welcome to restock their closets during open hours — just be sure to check in at the front counter.

  • Your first closet reservation is risk-free — as long as you follow the guidelines.

If, during your first Consignment Period, your 2/3 commission does not exceed the cost of your closet reservation, we will pay you up to the full reservation fee instead of the lesser commission amount.

    To qualify, you must:

    • Complete setup between 8:00–10:00 a.m. on the first Saturday

    • Apply at least a 50% discount to your entire closet by Thursday

    • Remove all inventory between 7:00–8:00 p.m. on the final Friday

This guarantee applies to your first reservation only. Full details are outlined in our Terms & Conditions.
